About the Alliant Small Business Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC)
The Alliant Small Business (Alliant SB) GWAC provides streamlined access to a broad range of management and technical support services, enabling complex IT solutions to be acquired under a pre-competed multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. The Alliant Small Business vehicle represents one of the most flexible small business contracts for IT solutions in government. The contract, valued at $15 billion, has a five-year base period with one five-year option.
The Alliant SB contract provides access to a range of complementary management,
technical, and other support services. The flexibility of Alliant SB enables the
agencies to acquire IT services-based solutions that include ancillary non-IT components. For example, the ancillary Equipment (hardware, software, licenses, racks, mounts, etc.) or Telecommunications, Wireless, and Satellite products and services may be purchased as part of the overall IT solution. The Alliant SB contract also supports the objectives of the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) and Department of Defense’s Enterprise Architecture (DoDEA) program and has been developed within the framework prescribed by the new IT investment budget guidance issued by OMB --allowing agencies to easily comply with federal policies governing IT investments.
