3.  Does PSI have other GWAC contracts?

As a prime, PSI currently has 2 other GWAC contracts (IT Schedule 70 and COMMITS NexGen) that are also issued by GSA. Information on those GWAC contracts can be found under the ‘Other GSA Contracts’ links on the right side of this webpage. Additionally, PSI is part of various other GWAC contracts where it is a subcontractor. PSI’s corporate processes and management methods are in accordance with the principles of Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI’s) Capability Maturity Model - Integration (CMMI). PSI has passed a corporate wide independent assessment at CMMI Level 3 which ensures high levels of consistency and quality in our business and management practices.

5.  Is PSI’s Alliant SB Contract available for use by state/local governments?

No, unfortunately Alliant SB cannot be used by state/local governments. However, our GSA Schedule 70 contract can be used for that purpose.

6.  Can you briefly describe the services offered by PSI?

PSI has over 25 years of experience providing information technology services in life cycle development, infrastructure support, operations, information assurance, and telecommunications/networks.

7.  What is a Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC)?

Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is a task-order or delivery-order contract for Information Technology established by one agency for government-wide use. Each GWAC is operated by an executive agent designated by the Office of Management and Budget pursuant to the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. GWACs are not subject to the Economy Act.

8.  What can be purchased using the Alliant SB Contract?

The Alliant contracts are for Information Technology (IT) services and IT services-based solutions. Ordering Contracting Officers may include ancillary services and equipment on orders as long as the ancillary support is integral and necessary for the IT services-based solution.

10.  How does a federal agency access the Alliant SB Contract?

Federal buyers who wish to use the Alliant SB contract must receive delegation of procurement authority from GSA prior to issuing task orders. Information on how to obtain this delegation is available on the Alliant SB Overview page www.gsa.gov/alliantsb.

11.  Can a Contracting Officer limit competition of task orders to a set number of prime contractors?

All contract holders must be provided a fair opportunity to be considered for all orders in accordance with FAR 16.505 unless an exception to fair opportunity in FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)-(iv) applies. Exceptions must be documented in the file.
